In 2006 March, the PHC (Pew Hispanic Center) estimated that the number of illegal immigrants was some where between 11.5 to 12 million people in the United States. From these 12million a staggering 57% belongs to Mexico. 24% contribution comes from the Latin American countries, and 9% is contributed by the different Asian countries while 6% comes from Europe and Canada and the rest 4% is contributed by the rest of the world.
