FY 2011: ICE announces year-end removal numbers, highlights focus on key priorities including threats to public safety and national security: “Overall, in FY 2011 ICE’s Office of Enforcement and Removal Operations removed 396,906 individuals — the largest number in the agency’s history. Of these, nearly 55 percent or 216,698 of the people removed were convicted of felonies or misdemeanors — an 89 percent increase in the removal of criminals since FY 2008. This includes 1,119 aliens convicted of homicide; 5,848 aliens convicted of sexual offenses; 44,653 aliens convicted of drug related crimes; and 35,927 aliens convicted of driving under the influence.

Napolitano: Deportation reviews to begin shortly – CNN.com: “WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Obama administration soon will begin its systematic review of the approximately 300,000 pending deportation cases, separating “high priority” cases involving criminals it wants to deport from “low priority” cases it will drop, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told Congress Wednesday.”

Primary Causes for a Visa Being Refused

If you are one of the millions of people for whom visa has been refused there could be a million reasons to that. Also the officer at the United States consulate might even choose to not even give you a reason for the refusal. Now you must be thinking how rude is that supposed to be.
But my friend like I said there could be a million reasons why your visa has been refused from it some very common reasons have been listed here.
If the visa officer thinks or has proof that you have done some fraud or misrepresentation in your visa application then they might choose to totally reject your application.
